Salvador is a vibrant community of artists of all kinds. The area draws from the region's African and Portuguese heritage, making the city the country’s soul and the birthplace of modern Brazilian culture. The local foods, music, dance and vibrant visual arts are all evidence to it's pervasive African influence.
So many tourists arriving in Salvador choose to visit at least one of two of its art galleries and museums, which house some of Bahia's most noteworthy art collections. Salvador is also very much known for its rich handicraft legacy, and so you can expect to see lots of cultural pieces made with seashells, wood and clay.
I'm planning to have a tattoo. Thanks for the post.![]()
