Thread: Brazil's president attacks Vatican for condemning 9 year old rape victim's abortion

Brazil's president has criticised the Roman Catholic Church for excommunicating doctors who performed an abortion on a nine-year-old girl who was raped by her stepfather and was expecting twins. Do you guys think that doing abortion was the correct decision, or it wouldn't have been done?

Personally, I think abortion, whatever is the reason behind the action, is still murder. The girl may be too young to have the babies... to carry on her shoulders the responsibility of being a mother... She must have hated the father of her babies... But there are other means to get them out of their lives! She can bring them to an orphanage after giving birth and have them for adoption. Why should you kill an innocent one? And to think they are twins! Two babies... two lives lost their chance in this world. Pity on them..
