fan shot dead after dramatic riots during Goias-Vila Nova match
Western media are taking this episode to put doubts as regards the ability of Brazil to host the World Cup, implying potential safety issues in a country where violence is rife, I think Brazil is SO much more than that, there's no other country in the world that plays football like Brazil, irrespective of the players on the pitch (well, maybe with Dunga as a couch they weren't that entertaining), it's a real shame such things happen, I genuinely hope something will be done to put these fears to rest.

This is a very delicate issue. When something like this happens it is caused by organized groups that go to matches with the intent of beating up or killing anyone that is not on their team. What happened to this fan was tragic and to be honest if Brazil does not have a tight security plan for 2014 and 2016 then...
