Favorite Beach?
What is your favorite beach in Brazil? How often do you go to it? Why is it your favorite?
-
I don't have a favorite. I like most of them a lot, and I like to explore new beaches or ones that I haven't seen in a while.
-
I think cleanliness is one of the most important aspect for favourable beaches. But of course it must have beautiful scenery as well as accessible to the public.
-
My favorite beach in Brazil is Copacabana in Rio. The beach is about 4 kilometers long, with sparkling white sand. It is relatively cheap . There are plenty of accommodations, restaurants and night clubs.
-
It is hard to decide but i think the best beaches are in Rio. Even I like beaches in San Paola...
-
The town of Santos, 45 miles south of Sao Paulo, has a beautiful 4 mile long
beach garden.
-
So many beaches I heard from this forum, anyone got pictures of those beaches, preferably if you taken by your own since it got that original feel in it
-
I like Jericoacoara.
But to get there, visitors must endure an 8 hour long bus ride.

Porto de Galinhas in Pernambuco state for me is one of the best beaches in Brazil
Porto de Galinhas - Guia Completo da Melhor Praia do Brasil check it out

Still "Copacabana" from Rio de Janeiro. I like also Ipanema and Leblon the home of the bikini and tangas.

I haven't been in Brazil but i'm doing lots of research about this place. Though many have said that the best beach is in Rio de Janeiro, i've read some articles that Alter do Chao is much better. It is on a river at the heart of the Amazon rainforest around 30km from the rainforest city of Santarem. But Rio de Janeiro is great tOo! =)

Hi Misty,
I am also doing research in this category. Brazil beach always interest me. I want to enjoy beach volleyball with beautiful scenery.
-
Praia Mole in Floripa (Florianopolis). Beautiful people, amazing waves, very white sand and delicious Acai pots everywhere.
-
The beaches in Buzios are terrific- I really did not want to come back home after spending some time there- the food was excellent and you feel like you are in paradise- just found the prices a way bit too exaggerated- but as a tourist town what can you expect really?

Hi Sarah, nice to meet you!
I am from São Paulo city, and the most beautiful beach for me is Maresias Beach located in the north litoral of São Paulo, about 2,5 hours from the city.
Maresias is the most famous and exciting beach of the North Coast of São Paulo, much frequented by beautiful and fashion people, artists, VIP´s and surfers from São Paulo and many other parts of Brazil.
The beach is 5 km long and has white sand and clear sea and sometimes agitated. Like almost all the beaches of the North Coast, Maresias is surrounded by Atlantic Forest, forming a beautiful and characteristic meeting of the sea with the forest. The beach has become one of the most sophisticated tourist centers of Brazil, being a popular destination for Brazilians and foreigners.
It's a stopping point for both Sao Paulo and Brazilian, and foreigners. Besides the natural beauty of the beach and great waves for surfing, there is an excellent commercial structure, the bustling nightlife in bars and clubs and the network of hotels and inns that Maresias deployed in a culture of personalized service, comfort and good taste in decorating.
A good tip: In Maresias Beach, you´re having the opportunity to see a pink sky, when sitting down in your beach chair for contemplating a very unusual sight of sunset!

My favorite beach in Brazil is "Maresias", it is located in the São Paulo north coast (about 2h30 from São Paulo city) and I think that it is one of the best beaches near my home. A very beautiful beach, clean and clear waters, beautiful people, good infra-structure, etc

Every beach in Brazil is my favorite!!!
-
My favorite beach in Brazil is Santa Rita, in Ubatuba surroundings, São Paulo state. In my opinion the region between São Paulo city and Rio de Janeiro has the most beautiful beaches at Brazil. Clean water, white sand, rocks and portions of Atlantic Rainforest. You only have to take care with mosquitos, but something ease to avvoid with a good repelent!
